Working In Partnership with Families

At St Thomas Community Primary School, we know that parents and carers play a vital role in their child’s learning. Building strong links with families is central to our school ethos, and we aim to support you in extending learning at home as well as in school.

We offer a range of opportunities to help you support your child, including:

  • Free learning resources for children to use at home

  • Daytime and evening consultations with staff

  • ‘Cuppa & Chat’ sessions to discuss learning, progress and support strategies

We are always looking for new ways to involve parents and carers in their child’s learning. If you have ideas for how we can build on what we already do, or if you need support to help your child at home, please get in touch. We will do everything we can to help.

Our Wider Partnerships

We believe that strong, positive partnerships play a vital role in enriching the learning experience. By working closely with a wide range of organisations, community groups and external professionals, we create meaningful opportunities that support and inspire our learners.

Below are just a few of the organisations we work with to create meaningful opportunities for our learners.
